Project Description
National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) was established as an institution for advanced multidisciplinary research and a forum bringing together government administrators, industry managers, public leaders, eminent individuals, and academics from the natural and social sciences, arts and humanities. Its objective is to nurture a broad base of scholars, managers and leaders to respond with insight and dedication to the complex challenges facing contemporary Indian and global society. The Institute is unique in its integrated approach to the intersection between science and technology, philosophy, social issues and leadership. Its philosophy is manifest in its research teams from various disciplines. NIAS is engaged in developing the CLIx Biology curriculum content.
